Shipping, Delivery and Returns

Packaging of goods

Ulysses Quality Shop guarantees the utmost care and professionalism in the packaging of products, ensuring minimal risk of receiving damaged goods. Ulysses Quality Shop, with the main intention of preserving the environment by avoiding unnecessary waste, will use recycled and/or used cartons for shipping its products. This will enable Ulysses Quality Shop among other things to contain costs, facilitating further competitive pricing for its customers. Therefore, except for the packaging of particular items, no cost is charged to Ulysses Quality Shop customers for product packaging.

Shipment tracking

All registered Customers who purchase on Ulysses Quality Shop will be notified by e-mail of the shipment of the goods and they will be given the code necessary to track the shipment on the website of the courier used for shipping.

Couriers

The choice of the courier used to ship the goods is made according to the weight of the purchased products and the location of the destination of the goods, by the Customer during the order and later by Ulysses Quality Shop. The preference expressed by the Customer, subject to the related cost, is not binding on Ulysses Quality Shop, which, in the sole interest of the customer and the quality of service, may decide to entrust the shipment of the goods to a courier of its choice. The change of the courier from the preference expressed by the Customer will in no case result in additional costs for the latter. Shipping costs will be charged to the Customer as specified in the order and except in cases and/or items for which Ulysses Quality Shop decides to offer free delivery and shipping service. In the event that the carrier takes assignment in any capacity directly from the Customer, Ulysses Quality Shop shall not be liable for loss and/or damage and/or breakdown of the goods from the moment of delivery of the goods to the carrier at our warehouses.

Estimated Delivery Time

Goods are normally delivered within a maximum of 3 days (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excluded) from the date the goods are shipped, which can be as soon as the order is prepared. If the goods are in stock, the order is prepared for shipment in 24/48 hours maximum from notification of payment. Delivery times may vary due to force majeure, due to special traffic and road conditions in general, by act of the Authorities. Any delays in delivery, if known to Ulysses Quality Shop, will still be promptly reported.

Elements that affect delivery time are the total weight of the goods, the type of goods ordered, the type of shipment chosen, and the destination location. When defining the order procedure, it is possible to choose the preferred courier: as already highlighted this preference will be respected but will not be binding for Ulysses Quality Shop.

Delays during delivery of goods can occur for multiple reasons, chief among them insufficient or inaccurate information on the destination address of the goods and/or lack of a telephone number to provide to the carrier to facilitate delivery of the goods and communication in case of difficulties by the carrier. However, Ulysses Quality Shop and its Customer Care service will always be there to interpret the customer’s needs and requirements and welcome their advice.

International Shipments

Ulysses Quality Shop offers for its customers an International Shipping service through the use of the best couriers. The international shipping service does not reach all countries in the World but only the locations listed below. It is possible that the shipment of some products, due to fragility (aquariums, glass tanks), weight (stones, sea salt, sand), bulk (aquarium furniture), is impossible, particularly complex and / or expensive and in any case does not allow Ulisse Quality Shop to guarantee a safe delivery of the goods and integrity: in these cases Ulisse Quality Shop may cancel the order by promptly informing the Customer and refunding all sums that may have been paid by them for the purchase of the goods. In order to ascertain the availability of the service, we therefore advise the international customer to contact our Customer Care via e-mail before purchasing products with the characteristics indicated above.

The countries reached by the service at present are:
all countries of the European Union
Albania, Turkey, Serbia, Russia, USA, Canada

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs depend on the carrier chosen for transport and are determined variably in weight steps. The calculation of shipping cost depends not only on the factory weight of the purchased products but also on the volumetric size of the shipping package. Therefore, the weight shown at the various products for sale on the site should be considered as shipping weight and not factory weight. The combination of the factors described determines the cost of shipping. Costs related to particular items (particularly heavy and/or bulky and/or fragile) and/or particular destinations (Ex: inconvenient locations, international transportation, etc.) may follow different rules than those described here.

  • Shipments that exceed 30 kg and/or are particularly bulky: will be determined in the same manner as described above. Should special difficulties arise such that Ulisse Quality Shop is unable to conclude the delivery service with the expected qualitative and/or temporal standards, it will be Ulisse Quality Shop’s responsibility to promptly contact the customer to illustrate the problem that has arisen and agree on the best solution to his liking.

  • International shipping: Ulysses Quality Shop offers its customers an International Shipping service with the best couriers. The international shipping service does not reach all countries in the Mndo but only the locations indicated in the appropriate section of this area. Shipping costs are determined similarly to those for domestic shipments; rates and weight brackets also vary according to the location of the goods’ destination. Should the cost of shipping be particularly onerous for the Customer Ulysses Quality Shop may cancel the order by promptly notifying theCustomer of the issues that have arisen.

  • Delivery Time:3 days, excluding Saturdays and holidays.

Free Shipping Offer

The commercial conditions set from time to time by Ulysses Quality Shop may provide for the offer of free shipping for all shipments exceeding the amount set by the current promotion and communicated by appropriate advertising banners posted on the website. It is possible that current promotions related to the shipping of goods may not include some items whose shipping is particularly complex and/or expensive. Appropriate notice will be given for these cases.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, free shipping is not provided for International Shipments; orders placed in disagreement with this provision will be cancelled by Ulysses Quality Shop unless the Customer decides to supplement any payment made with the necessary shipping charges.

WITHDRAWAL AND RETURN OF GOODS

As indicated more generally in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the Customer may always withdraw from the contract in the manner and under the terms provided by Chapter 1 of the New Consumer Code: the Customer who purchased on the website www.ulissequalityshop.com, under current regulations has the right to withdraw without any reason within 14 days. In principle, this deadline runs from the day on which the customer or a third party other than the carrier and designated by the customer acquires physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform Ulysses, within 14 calendar days of receipt of the goods, of your intention to withdraw from the contract. From that date, the Customer has 14 days to return the items for which this right is to be exercised by completing the appropriate Withdrawal Form.

In case of withdrawal, the cost of reshipping the product is fully borne by the customer.

The right of withdrawal is totally forfeited if the returned product is not intact, that is, in case of:

  • lack of original packaging
  • Absence of integral elements of the product (accessories, cables, instruction manuals etc)
  • Damage to the product due to causes other than transportation.

ulissequalityshop.com will proceed to transmit the re-credit order related to the cost of shipped goods within 15 days.

Ulissequalityshop.com will consequently reject any product returned unpacked, as well as products for which the return costs have not already been paid in full by the Customer.
