Description

Ulysses BonsaiPro Lapillus Optima is Volcanic Lapillus of an eye-catching red-brown color, suitable both as part of the growing substrate for plants and as a useful and decorative mulch.

As a growing medium, it is usually used in combination with Akadama Optima or with pumice such as Pumex Optima.

This substrate does not lose its physical characteristics over time while releasing iron and potassium, two elements necessary for proper plant growth. In addition, its physical structure allows it to retain water very well and provide good cation exchange with the roots.
